Karen Tanenbaum is a lawyer by trade (forgive her) who's taken a few life leaps of her own - from traveling and volunteering her way around the world on a shoestring budget to co-authoring a funny illustrated book for new parents with her spouse during sleepless COVID newborn nights (it was cheaper than therapy) to, well, starting this podcast. Originally from Charleston, SC, until recently she lived in Washington, DC with her husband (and occasional co-host!) Juan, tornado of a toddler and various animals.

She has a penchant for drawing people out and a passion for helping them tell their unique stories. She's all about people, pivots, and finding the best place to buy bubble tea. Join her every Wednesday on Life Leaps Podcast!

*AND AN EXCITING UPDATE!*

In January 2023, Karen and Juan made their own life leap by putting everything in storage and moving to Southern Europe to pursue a lifelong dream of living and traveling abroad with their toddler. They’ll be keeping listeners updated through a blog (here on the website) and periodic episode updates on the Podcast (check out Episode 8 and Episode 13 so far!).
